Raine & Humble was launched in 2007 through the collaboration of husband and wife team Peter & Kerry Bower, and their mutual friend Vinji. The team combined Peter's prior experience in the homewares industry, Viniji's connection to ethical Indian manufacturers, and most importantly, Kerry's eye for design.

Today the Raine & Humble brand is led by Kerry Bower. Despite having no formal design training, her natural talent has proven that education is often less important than passion and hard work. Raine & Humble is committed to proactively support skilled craftspeople in India, where all their products are made, ensuring secure livelihoods for themselves and their families.
